Oil on panel. 6×8.

Painted during the workshop I took this summer with my good friend Scott Tallman Powers. When I sat down at first I was a few feet away from the spot I painted from and the Sears Tower (Willis Tower) wasn’t in view. I moved over closer to a tree for some shade and it popped into view and I knew I had a great painting spot.
